I CREATE MY FUTURE
I started college but had to leave because of bad information about how financial aid worked. Then I broke my neck in an accident. Out of work and trying to recover, I felt hopeless until I realized that I am the hero of my story and my future is something I have the opportunity to create, not just something that happens to me. I earned a bookkeeping certification and stepped into a new career, seeing that effort could build the life I'd dreamed of. Now I'm investing in homeownership and running a candle business. The cuts are what make diamonds shine.
